Fool for Books Giveaway Hop

April Fool's Day! While not an all American "holiday", it seems far more popular here than anywhere else. Maybe it has to do with our affinity for crazy antics. Just look at the movies and reality shows we watch. I often hope that many of "The Real Housewives of Insert City Here" are pranks on the viewing public. In fact, I hope this so much that I can't miss a single Beverly Hills episode. Yep, that's why!

So why do we crave pranks? Why do we enjoy fooling, and sometimes even scaring our friends and family?

Or do we? Maybe we made it all happen in one day so we could control the craziness of daily pranking, giving it only one day a year. This way we could anticipate it, work to expect the unexpected, making it almost tolerable and ensuring we don't have to face the prank-causing anxiety throughout the rest of the year.

Or maybe we just love it! What's your take? And remember you'd be a fool not to enter my giveaway below!

  5. My lucky charm is a penny with a smiley face cut-out that I have had on my keychain for over 20 years. My best friend gave it to me and it hasn't let me down yet.
